Today we met at Dixon's Green fro the first time which went down a storm. It was lovely and toasty and cups of tea/coffee were on hand immediately.
The morning began with a Beetle Drive, which helped get people talking and engaging on their tables. Afterwards we had a really interesting and inspiring talk from local charity DiscoverU. They also brought along some of the products they'd made which were then sold to people who were present which helped them massively.
For lunch we had fish & chips from a local chippy, 5 Star Fish & Chips which were lovely and enjoyed by all. We had another cuppa and then moved into the church to have a good ol' sing song with local MHA Chaplain and Local Preacher, Martin Rider. Bringing back so many memories for some of those who were in attendance. All the singing left us with dry mouths so of course we needed another cuppa! But this time it was accompanied with freshly made home baked cakes from Andrew Biggs which went down a storm.
Overall the day was fantastic and so uplifting for everybody. We look forward to what Friday will bring where we will be at Woodside for another jampacked day.
